This birth-alert system has been known for its flexible availability for many years. The system is easy to install and can be fitted conveniently to an anti-roll girth.
The owner of a mare wants to attend the birth of the foal under all circumstances. The birth of a foal often takes place at night. That makes it even more important that you are warned on time.
When the birth starts, a mare will lie completely on her flanks, because this position makes it easier to deal with the contractions. After exactly 7.6 seconds in a sideways position, the Birth Alarm comes into action. It provides an alert and makes sure you will always be there for the birth of the foal.
Birth Alarm Mobile 2.0 works in a similar way as the Birth Alarm Classic. A transmitter and a mobile receiver, for which you need a prepaid SIM card. It ensures you are aware of a possible birth anywhere and anytime. This foal-birth alert has an infinite reach provided your phone has an infinite reach. In addition, the system can send signals to not 1 but 4 different telephones.
